Youth Outreach – May 2, 13, 14

Club members were very busy during the month of May visiting three local elementary schools. Seems like we were being chased by lingering April showers in trying to schedule the visits. While at each school, we talked to the students about the development of transportation, the moving assembly line, and provided a little history of the Ford Motor Company. The second part of our visit was probably more enjoyable for the students when we went outside to look at and talk about the Model A vehicles.

On May 2, we visited Triadelphia Ridge Elementary school and talked with the second graders from the transportation unit.

On May 13, members visited Glen Burnie Park Elementary school prior to
their class visit to the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

On May 14, we visited Bushy Park Elementary school to talk with the second graders from the transportation unit. (The photos are from this visit.)
