The Greater Baltimore Model A Ford Club is a Region of the Model “A” Restorers Club (MARC) and a Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA). Most of our members are from the geographical area around Baltimore, Maryland, extending north to the Pennsylvania line, west to Washington, DC, and south to Annapolis. We exchange ideas, information and parts for the Model A Ford Car and aid our members in restoring and preserving their cars in their original likenesses. We help these owners and their families to become better acquainted, and encourage the spirit of fellowship through sponsored activities that include the use of the Model A Ford. We have multiple events each year which include driving events, social events, and educational events. Our emphasis is on having fun with our cars.
We have a business meeting on the third Tuesday of each month, except December, at the Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville, MD. After a business meeting we have a presentation on some aspect of the Model A Ford, its restoration, or related topics. We also have many events between meetings either with or without our cars. Our club maintains Model A Ford tools and informational videos for the use of our members. We have educational programs at local high schools, workshops, and a ride-along program for those who do not own a Model A Ford. Our newsletter won the MARC Best Newsletter Award in 2009 and our events are always well attended and fun. Our members are friendly and helpful, and we encourage people interested in cars of this era to attend our meetings and see how interesting they can be.

It is not necessary to own a Model A to be a member. To join, fill out a Club application form available from the Membership Chairman, and mail it to the membership chair (email address is on the Board of Directors page of this site) along with your check for $25 made payable to The Greater Baltimore Model A Ford Club (or GBMAFC).
All members of the Greater Baltimore chapter must also be a member of the Model A Restorers Club (MARC) for insurance reasons. If you are not already a member of MARC, must also send a filled out MARC application form, which you can get if you click here, along with your check for $45 made payable to MARC to our Membership Chair. We will forward your MARC membership application and check to MARC. Both the local chapter and MARC membership years begin on January 1.
