Longwood Garden Tour

You can book your room by calling the hotel directly at 610-524-9000, ext. 0. Or book online at www.hieexton.com Let the booking representative know you are with the Model A Club. Rooms are being held until August 20, 2019. After this date the unbooked rooms will be released.

The Behind the Scenes Tour: Under the Fountains is offered on Friday and Sunday afternoons. We are planning on arriving at Longwood in time for the 3:15 tour on Friday, Sept. 20th. This tour takes about an hour and 15 minutes. Participants should be prepared to climb and descend a couple of flights of stairs. You will need a ticket to Longwood Gardens about $20.00 (depending on Military or Senior discount that might apply to you) and an additional Behind the Scenes tour ticket which is $20.00.

Tickets for the Behind the Scenes Tour: Under the Fountains are not available yet. We’ll keep checking and let you know when they are available and when you can purchase them. We’ve been told that the tours should be running throughout the month of September, but last we checked the tour was not yet on the schedule.

On Saturday we will tour other mansions and/or museums:
-Hagley Museum and Library on Old Barley Mill Rd. This can take up to three hours.
-Nemours Estate on Power Mill Rd. Also up to three hours.
-Rockwood Museum is at 610 Shipley Rd. Allow two hours.
-Winterthur museum, Gardens & Liberty on Pennsylvania Ave. Allow two hours.
