Sunday, December 15, was a nice day. The week before brought snow and salted roads—so no one ventured out in their Model A’s! Everyone traveled in their modern cars and had a great time at the annual Christmas party, held again this year at the Westminster Elks Lodge.
There were about 60 of us in attendance, and after Father Kevin’s blessing we enjoyed a fine meal together. After dinner we were serenaded by the “Never Too Late” band from the Carroll Lutheran Village. The band was comprised of members who were in their 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s! They sounded great and everyone enjoyed them immensely. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun and fellowship. Thanks to all who attended and to those who helped put it all together. Hope to see everyone again next year!
