Brown’s Farm Market – Nov. 7, 2015

On November 7, seven Model A’s and one modern vehicle made the trek to Brown’s Farm Market and Penn-Dutch Restorations near Loganville, Pennsylvania. Penn-Dutch Restorations is a mere two miles from the market, and club member Rick Menz, who suggested it, led the way. Father and son own-ers, Jeff and Devon Hammers, provided us a tour of their facility with a look at the projects currently underway. Among others, those projects included four 1930s Packards, an extremely rare (one of twelve made and the only one known to exist) Packard Civil Defense ambulance, a ’49 Hudson, a ’37 Buick hearse, and a just completed ’49 VW that won a First Junior award at this year’s AACA meet in Hershey, PA.
