The morning dawned crisp and cool with bright sunshine, perfect Model A driving weather. Susan and I met Jon at his house and then made our way to the Lisbon McDonald’s to meet with the rest of the Model A diehards. At the McDonald’s we met up with Butch, Jack and Carolyn, Jim and Joanne, Kenny and Vickie, Pete and Connie, Mike Grear, and Rick and Valerie. Mike hopped into Butch’s Model A and Pete and Connie rode with Jon Mil-ler. With a total of eight cars, we split into two traveling groups of four cars each. I led the first group and Jon left 5 minutes later with the second group. Both groups meandered through the beautiful Montgomery County country-side on the way to Brunswick.
